Our Captains are recommending flylining with 20-25# test line and a 2-1/0 size hook for smaller fish, and 30-50# test for bigger fish. Fluorocarbon is recommended.
UPDATES:
The Dolphin caught 30 Yellowfin tuna for the Extended half day trip for 29 anglers. Capt. Jimmy said they lost a lot more fish than they landed.
The Liberty called in with 85 Yellowfin tuna for their overnight charter for 25 anglers
The Pacific Queen called in with over 70 Yellowfin tuna.
The Condor called in with 24 Yellowfin tuna, 1 Bluefin tuna, 5 Dorado and 1 Yellowtail.
The Pacific Dawn just called in with Limits of Dorado (32) and 132 Yellowfin Tuna!(20-25#) for thier 2 day trip.
The Pegasus called in with Limits of dorado and 25 yellowfin tuna to start the first day of their 3 day trip! Great weather and lots of fish sighted offshore.
The Pacific Dawn finished day 1 of their 2 day trip with Limits of Dorado and Limits of Yellowfin Tuna.
RETURNS:
The Fortune returned last night with 75 Yellowfin tuna and 2 Yellowtail for their trip.
The Liberty returned with an update of 62 Yellowfin tuna for todays 3/4 day trip for 21 anglers
The Condor returned with 24 Yellowfin tuna, 1 Bluefin tuna, 1 Yellowtail, and 5 Dorado
The Dolphin AM trip caught 88 Rockfish, and 1 Lingcod for 16 anglers. On the PM extended trip they caught 5 yellowfin tuna in the 25# range.
