This week has been a slower week with the heat wave so bring lots of water and sunscreen. The Lake will be closed on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 due to Blue Stoning. The water temperature is between 74-75 degrees, with the warmer water the fish are going deep. Catfish: High Action-Recent stocking of cats has been making some Happy Anglers over Catfish Alley off of chicken liver and anchovies. Striper: Medium Action- Early morning is always best! Striper have been seen over at the dam and inlet area. The bait of choice is shad colored swimbait, with chicken liver being another option? Largemouth: Medium to Slow Action- Hitting on Nightcrawlers, spoons, and shad over by the East End. Bluegills: Slow Action- Bluegills have been slow this week, but still biting on meal worms, wax worms, and live crickets. Trout: No Action Carp: Lots Of them and hitting on just about anything.
