The water temperature is 74-75 degrees. Striper: Med. Action: Stripers still going strong in the morning and later afternoon over at the west end of the lake. Bait of choice has been anchovies, mackerels, and night crawlers have been very successful. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Bluegills have been caught over on the north shore by boat on red worms and wax worms. Catfish: High Action: With stocking of cats, they are caught over at ramp 2, catfish alley and along the south shore. The bait of choice has been garlic night crawlers, anchovies, and cut mackerels. Large Mouth: Medium Action: These beauties have been hanging out in the reeds and grass. Hitting on robo worm, jigs, spinners and wax worms. Trout: No action.. Carp: Huge and plenty... come and get them, teach the kids a new challenge. Stop by the camp store or marina and share your fishing stories with us and get a picture taken so we can post it on FB.
