The water temperature is 76-78 degrees. It has been very hot so make sure to bring lots of sunscreen! Stop by the Camp Store for a cool refreshment! Last Stock of Catfish was September lst, 2017. Striper: Slow Action: Striper have slowed down some due to the heat and are deep but doing well over by the inlet area and the middle of the lake. Trolling with umbrella rigs, and night crawlers. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gills have been hitting on live crickets, night crawlers, meal worms and wax worms, over in the east bay area. Catfish: Medium to High Action: Cats have been hitting on chicken livers, anchovies, and mackerel. The normal size right now is 8-12 pounders. Carp: Plenty of carp hitting on most baits. Large Mouth Bass: Medium Action: Off most of your points outside of the reeds hitting on roboworms, sinkos, and frogs. Bite will get better as the water cools.
