Happy Mother’s Day!!! The water temperature is 67 degrees. Solar Cup this week, May 17" thru May 20", 2018. Water level is up.... Catfish was stocked on May 11*, 2018. Striper: Medium Action: Coves over by ramp 2, this week hitting on chicken livers, shad, white jigs, anchovies, and mackerel. Blue Gill: Medium Action: Red worms, wax worms night crawlers and plastic worms over at ramp 1 area and across from the marina.

Catfish: Medium Action: Anglers have been successful this week catching cats over in ramp 2 area, on chicken livers, anchovies, and gulp bait. Next stock of Catfish will be on May 25'h, 2018. Large Mouth: High Action: Hitting on small frogs and small dark color plastics and night crawlers over in the tellies. Trout: No Action. Carp: No Action Reported.

Many anglers reported having a great weekend out on the lake with Largemouth, Smallmouth, Striper, and Bluegill biting strong. Lots of action came from the dam, where Striper and Largemouth were biting on swimbaits and crank baits. The corner of the dam (where it meets the launch ramp) has been the most active. This past week held a few surprises on the upper lake with a few crappie being caught. Anglers had luck catching the species in utopia cove and firebreak with jerk baits in the middle of the day. Some good sized bass were caught this past week off of trout point and in cuttler cove. The 5" lunker punker worked wonders for those who threw it. The striper bite was good this week as well.
