The bait bite for the striped bass improved greatly by the buoy line and necktie canyon. Anglers reported catching stripers at a depth of 40-50 feet. Anglers also had lots of luck on the swimbait bite by the west ramp and off of the dam. The late afternoon between 5:00 and 7:45 has shown more action for swimbait fishing. The largemouth bass have continued to do well off of the shoreline, in henrickson cove, and around taylor spur. Nightcrawlers, roboworms, and crankbaits can all be used to successfully target the largies. The bluegill bite has also improved greatly with many being caught at a depth of 15 feet. Try fishing hawks nest, old ss, and coash cove between 6:00 am and 10:00 am for the best chance of a bite. Mealworms can be used in these areas for the best results.
