The Largemouth bite was even better than last, with lots of fish coming out of coash and cuttler coves. Grunt baits and worms have been doing wonders for those fishing in these areas. Get to the lake by 6:00 am and fish these areas all morning for the best luck. The Striped bass bite improved a little from the previous week as well, with bait working for more anglers. Most areas in the ski arm such as kong island, necktie, and the buoy line have produced stripers at a depth between 30 and 50 feet. Anchovies and sardines can be used for the best results. Anglers are still having luck with trout lures as well. You can troll between c point and kong island with a swimbait and lead line at a depth of 30 to 50 feet for a great chance of a bite as well.
