The 1,000-pound plant of Coleman variety trout at Loch Lomond last week has proved to be a boon for local trout anglers. The hybrid rainbow/cutthroat mix fish average 14 inches, and are "fat," according to Glenn Cole at that lake. Cole says a good number of limits were reported since the plant. He adds that warm water temperatures indicate in a week or two it will be smart to transition to bass or bluegill fishing at Loch Lomond.
