Trout Season is Offically Over

The water temperature is 60-62 digress. Trout Season is officially over. The last trout plant was March 27, 2019, 600 pounds.
Striper: Slow Action: The striper bit has slowed down drastically. Anglers that choose to grin it out have been able to pick off a few here and there.
Blue Gill: Slow Action: In 8-10 feet of water using red worms, wax worms, night crawlers and plastic worms over at ramp 1 area and across from the marina.
Catfish: Slow to Medium Action: Catfish are getting active with the water warming up. Look for cats over in ramp 2 area. Cats can be caught on chicken livers, anchovies, and night crawlers.
Large Mouth: Slow to Medium Action: Bass are starting to sit on beds but it sees that they are lethargic. Anglers are having better luck not focusing on bed fishing and sticking to deeper water instead.
Trout: High Action: Powerbait and mini jigs are still the best choice. Make sure to get out and take a few trout before it’s too late.
Carp: Medium Action: Big carp ready to catch. Carp can be caught along the banks. Use your favorite carp dough balls.
