Lake Skinner Marina Hours are 6am-4pm
Striper: Medium Action: There is a solid window for top water fishing from 6am to nearly 7am at various spots on the lake.. Throughout the day it seems that the bite is still on the slower side with a few anglers having luck on cut bait again!
Blue Gills: High Action: As always we have plenty of panfish being caught.. some larger models were taken on the Trout Magnet baits.. mini jigs tipped with worms or crickets is always a good option.
Cat Fish: High Action: Several anglers have had much success fishing for cats with anchovies.. The south shore and area around Ramp 2 have been the most productive.
Large Mouth Bass: Medium Action: Pretty decent bite throughout the lake, high numbers of smaller fish reported continually this week. A Purple Roboworm rigged however you prefer has been most productive..
Trout: Low Action: Unfortunately the last planet was postponed due to the holiday.. the next scheduled plant will be January 15th.. get out there and throw the mini jigs!
Carp: No Action to be reported.
