Weather permitted more fishermen to get out and hunt. Striper action continues to be some what tough for most that are in search of the line siders but this week panned out for numerous anglers throwing top waters, swim baits and even dropper shotting larger plastics in deeper waters.
Reports of large schools of fish state that they are holding in 60 to 80 feet of water but schoolies have been closer to the surface in the first light hours and the overcast conditions have helped keep the bite going until the late afternoon, early afternoon hours. Most report the striper has been in the 4-7lbs range with a few confirmed at just that.
LMB have also been reported in larger numbers as well. Many anglers have hooked into limits (5) in the early morning with the bite slowing in the early afternoon when they come back up. Most LMB have been metered at the 20 to 35 foot range as boaters report but they are on the surface in the 10-15 foot range in the early morning and later in the day. Average LMB reported have been in the 1 ?? - 3lbs range consistently with a few in the 5-8lbs range. All LMB were released and unconfirmed other than digital camera photos.

Jason Styles of Granada Hills stringer of 5 LMB largest being 2lbs.using plastics at the fish farm.
Mike Taylor of Tujunga stringer of 3 Striper the largest being 21.4 lbs. usuing swim baits undisclosed area
Micheal Chambers of Minnesota stringer of 9 LMB the largest being 4lbs. on plastics/crawlers all over the lake
