Stripers have continued to bite with good quality

Trout fishing has slowed a tad this past week without having a stocking since 5/11/21. Some anglers have been having luck with Powerbait and night crawlers. There are definitely hold overs left to be caught. Largemouth and smallmouth have been biting pretty decently this past month. A lot of different plastics have been working, mainly finesse plastics. The good old nightcrawler has been doing good lately as well. A few angels have been having some success with flies and reaction baits first thing in the emoting while trolling.

The stripers have continued to bite with good quality, but quality has been harder to come by. A lot fo small stripers are being caught off night crawlers, sardines, and anchovies.

The catfish also have been biting better, mainly off sardines, anchovies and mackerel.

The bluegill and crappie remains a little tougher to target, and the lagoon has been a better place for these species.

Trout fishing has slowed down a tad the past week, but anglers are still having some luck off nightcrawlers and Powerbait. The striper bite has improved a lot the past few days with a lot of smaller sized fish being caught. Most have been caught off nightcrawlers, lug worms, sardines, and anvhoces. Trout fishing has slowed down the past few days but there has still been a few anglers having luck. Powerbait and nightcrawlers seem to be doing the trick for most. We’re hoping for another stock soon. The largemouth and smallmouth fishing has probably been the most productive for anglers as of late.
