Texas Fish Report

The rains continue to come and the water is quite stained, but they are still catching trout along Senior Shoreline and in Oakvale Cove. Big fish of the week belonged to Greg Edwards who caught a 9.40# trout on rainbow powerbait at the east buoys. Scented baits or flashy lures are working best.

Catfish can be found throughout the lake and prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver.

Crappie are beginning to be caught in modest numbers near shore at Bass Point and Crappie Rock. They respond best to mini-jigs or live golden shiners.
