Summer steelhead angling is slow. This is mostly a catch-and-release fishery with very few hatchery summer steelhead. Only hatchery steelhead may be harvested.
Fishing is slow in the lower sections. The Swiftwater Park area has been fair and to good. Early forecast for spring Chinook in the North is low, but high enough for there to be some harvest. There will be 1 a day, 10 for the season limit on wild spring Chinook this year.
