GREETINGS FROM LAKE CUYAMACA

WE ARE OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS SUNSET
DUCK HUNTING STARTS IN DECEMBER AND RUNS THROUGH JANUARY
DFG delivered 1000 pounds of nice trout this week. We also received 1000 pounds of Sierra Trout from Mt. Lassen. Fishing should be excellent.

Best Trout Lure: Gold and Black Rapala

Best Trout Bait: Power bait

Best Spots: Trolling, W Jetty, the Dike

Notables:

- Todd Rockwell of La Mesa, caught 5 trout, the largest 2 1/2 pounds. He was trolling, using gold and black Rapala
- Bill Mack, of Spring Valley caught 5 trout, the largest 3 pounds using power bait on the Dike.
- Edward Svacina caught his limit of 5 trout in 45 minutes, all about 2 pounds, using the Super Vibra lure.
- Andy Warner, of Santee caught 5 trout, the largest 2 pounds in 15 minutes. He was using Rainbow powerbait on the W Rock Jetty.

THE FREE FISHING CLASS IS HELD EVERY SATURDAY AT THE LAUNCH RAMP. MEET RANGER CHARLIE AT 10 AM.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH.
