As most of you are well aware of, the storms came through So. Cal. this past week. We got our rain, we got our water level up and we got cooler temperatures the only thing we did not get was a return of the striper bite. To be fair we are reporting really on two days worth of fishing, but the newest reports are that the striper are more or less still a no show. The trout on the other hand loved the weather and were more than willing to take a few worms and powerbait this past weekend. Ramp # 2 still remains the best for the trout, but a few have been getting caught back in the East End along with a few hold over trout. Trout should be stocked again this coming week. A few bass reported up in the East End off of dark plastics, but no word on the bluegill. Some catfish at the dam off of chicken liver. If you were going to try for some striper I would say your best would be bait fishing off the bottom near the dam or inlet.
The following are the fish ratings:
Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Fair
Trout: Excellent
