THE LAKE IS OPEN FOR FISHING EVERYDAY AT 6 AM
THERE IS A FREE FISHING CLASS EVERY SATURDAY AT 10 AM AT THE LAUNCH RAMP. PLEASE LET THE RANGER KNOW YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING
THE WEATHER AND FISHING WERE OUTSTANDING THIS PAST WEEK.
NOTABLES:
Brandon Dowlan from Anaheim Hills caught 4 trout with the largest at 7 pounds. He was using nightcrawlers at Lone Pine. He also took home 5 catfish. Pretty good day fishing.
Larry and Cody Maxwell of El Cajon each limited out with trout at Pumphouse Cove. The largest was 2.5 lbs and they were casting Rainbow Powerbait.
Mark (and you know who you are) took a limit of trout at Lone Pine. 2.1 lbs. the largest. Mark was using Woolybuggers and a Thomas Bouyant lure.
Ask the Ranger about our Frequent Fisher Card. Fish nine times get the 10th permit free.
