Hello Anglers, We departed yesterday on our Canyon Lake 5-day trip with a brand new group of anglers. We decided to start our trip off offshore where we had a little bit of action on school sized tuna. At the end of the day, we just didn't see enough fish to keep us around so we are making a move to the islands to try for yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck... JUSTIN

Greeted by biting yellowtail!

Hello Anglers, Yesterday we arrived at Cedros Island around three in the afternoon, and were greeted by biting yellowtail. We had good action throughout the day with fish up to 25#. The best action came on fly lined sardines and yo-yo jigs. Today we are traveling up the line to make our 0600 ETA tomorrow back at Fisherman's Landing. The weather is grease calm. MIKE...... Trolling for wahoo

Hello Anglers, Hello Anglers, Yesterday we started our morning trolling for wahoo. We were able to capture a few on the marauders, but they didn't seem to want to bite the iron or bait. So we decided to drop the pick and try our luck with the tuna. We put together a nice catch of 40-80# yellowfin with the best bite coming right before dark.
