Stripers, Bass, Catfish and Panfish are all biting at Castaic

Stripers are starting to bite near the buoy line on sardines, mackerel and nightcrawlers. The bite has been somewhat decent all throughout the day but more fish are coming in during the late morning hours.BR>
The largies at the upper lake are still biting plastics and crawlers, their favorite colors are baby bass and shad. Most anglers are hitting up the fish arm in the afternoon, the morning bite happens for about an hour maybe, then the bite struggles for the rest of the morning.
Panfish are everywhere at the upper lake as well as the lagoon. Wax worms, small nightcrawlers and pretty much anything small enough to fit in their mouth will get them to bite.
Catfish are also biting all over most of the lake and mostly in Elizabeth Canyon on mackerel and nightcrawlers.
