More and more Boils!!! Stripers and largies are biting all over the lake all day long. The morning hours have been hit and miss as far as boils but the stripers are biting the sardines in Sharron's Rest and near the buoy line. The afternoon and late evening before closing has been the best time for striper boils. Any top water bait will do the trick, just look for the boils at the mouth of the coves and off the points. Largies are boiling in the mix with the stripers all throughout the fish arm.
Elizabeth Cyn and Hawks Nest have been two hot spots for the cats this past week. Mackerel and night crawlers are the best bait for the cats.
Panfish at the lagoon habe been doing ok at night still. Largemouth fishing at the lagoon has been pretty decent with a lot of 3 lb. fish being reported. Top water baits and some drop shot plastics have been working great for the largies.
