Near the end of the week the bite slowed down a bit probably just due to the amount of traffic on the water. Still plenty of boils are being spotted all over the lake and the largies and stripers are being caught. The largies can be found deeper in the coves on the fish arm, they are pretty picky when they are not boiling but none the less are still there.
The stripers are boiling all throughout the fish arm but the best time of day is hard to predict. The afternoon bite was pretty good but now the mid-day bite seems to be better. But hopefully the afternoon bite will pick up.
Super Spooks, Sammies and Kastmaster have been bring in the most fish over the course of the past few weeks. The fishing in the lagoon has been showing signs of improving. Catfish are biting really well on nightcrawlers and sardines. The largemouth are biting on Robo worms and Berkley power worms. The Crappie are still biting on wax worms and crappie jigs and the bigger Crappie are still coming out during the night.
