THE WEATHER WAS UNSETTLED FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS THIS WEEK. OVER AN INCH OF RAIN FELL.
WE EXPECTING JESS RANCH TO DELIVER FISH NEXT WEEK.
Notables:
Jeff Tinderholt of Chula Vista caught 5 trout, the largest at 3 pounds using an inflated worm with orange powerbait at the finger jetty.
Muni Mike Cheney of El Centro caught 3 trout for a total of 7.5 pounds. His largest trout was 3 pounds. He was using a night crawler at the North Jetty.
Kurt Record of San Diego caught 5 trout, the largest was 4.8 pounds. He was using a mini jig at Lone Pine.
Eric Predmore of Ramona caught 4 trout with his largest at 2.5 pounds. He was using a night crawler at the T-Dock.
The Osprey(fish eagle) has been hanging around. He is a great fisher and fun to watch. Most days he is perched in the tree next to the boat house.
DON'T FORGET THE FREE FISHING CLASS IS HELD EVERY SATURDAY AT 10 AM AT THE LAUNCH RAMP.
DECONTAMINATION WASHDOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS AND MOTORS BEFORE A LAUNCH. CHECK WITH STAFF IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.
