Island Spirit still putting up good numbers of red snapper and chucks, but the LINGCOD bite keeps getting better every day! The weather is warming up and the sea remains flat.. looking forward to this upcoming weekend!

TODAY'S FISH COUNT: 2 boats, 39 anglers caught.. 10 Albacore Tuna, 310 Rockfish, 5 Lingcod, 6 Whitefish, 28 Sculpin Tough fishing for the Pacific Queen's first trip up north, but some fish did hit the deck. Island Spirit fished the local islands with great success on the rockfish and others. Both trips saw excellent weather today.. it only looks to continue all weekend! Ventura Landing ~ 3/4 Day LIMITS in the AM - PacQueen 2-day trips departs!

Island Spirit found excellent weather today fishing locally. They had Limits by 10:30am of red snapper, then gave fishing the humbolts a try.. no love. They are running again tomorrow with a very lite load. The PACIFIC QUEEN also departs on its 2-day albacore trip. This departs at 6pm looking for those big numbers coming from the central coast.
