Island Spirit smacked the Red Snapper again yesterday, but now we are upon the weekend! Ultra-lite loads and fishing w/LIVE SQUID!! Signs of our homeguard yellowtail now biting, lingcod moving into the shallows, and snapper coming up double.. plus the weather is outstanding! This is what fall fishing is all about at the Channel Islands. Lets go!

ISLAND SPIRIT 3/4 DAY, 6AM DEPARTURE.
PACIFIC EAGLE FULL DAY, 5AM DEPARTURE, LIMITED LOAD w/BUNKS.

TODAY'S FISH COUNT: 2 boats, 39 anglers caught.. 10 Albacore Tuna, 310 Rockfish, 5 Lingcod, 6 Whitefish, 28 Sculpin Tough fishing for the Pacific Queen's first trip up north, but some fish did hit the deck. Island Spirit fished the local islands with great success on the rockfish and others. Both trips saw excellent weather today.. it only looks to continue all weekend!
