Texas Fish Report

Today we had 2 boats out, one fishing local island rockfish (Island Spirit), the other in search of white seabass (Pacific Eagle). Our 3/4 day trip aboard the "Spirit" saw good numbers of rockfish (limits for 21) with some lings and others.
The "Eagle" however had a tough time of it. They had 12 anglers fishing hard for several hours before giving in and moving on to rockfishing. Overall, a nice day to be on the water... flat calm, but gloom and fog kept the sun hidden all day.

ISLAND SPIRIT departs at 6AM on a 3/4 day trip. KIDS RIDE FREE w/paid adult. They will be targeting red snapper and lingcod. Also, they will be giving away another WFO SPORTFISHING tackle bag during this trip (a $90 value).
