Texas Fish Report

Island Spirit knocked the red snapper again today.. plus another nice lingcod. They had limits for 24 anglers in flat calm conditions under a blue sky! Perfect conditions to go fishing!
Lingcod fishing has been the BUZZ as of late, and for good reason! LOTS of fish taken this week, with several in the 15 pound class. The largest this week (pictured here) was caught by Mike George from Ventura aboard the Island Spirit earlier this week.. 26.4 pounds on the digital scale. Captain Jonny Ewart said "another fish (even larger) was lost at the surface just before sticking the gaf in Mike's fish".


The forecast calls for more great weather throughout the weekend.. loads are extreemly lite for both Saturday and Sunday. Check out our upcoming schedule!
