A 3 lb. Largemouth and a 3 lb. Striper were the large fish this week at Lake Skinner

The weather at Lake Skinner has been beautiful, temperatures have been in the mid 70's. Which makes it a great time to come out and go fishing.

Anglers have been catching small trout and stripers. The successful baits have been rainbow and corn powerbait and the garlic trout mallows sold at the store and marina. For those who like to throw lures, Rapalas have been bring in the trout. The next stocking for trout will be on January 13, 2012.

Here at Lake Skinner we have had beautiful weather. Average temperatures have been in the mid 70's, making it a great time to come out, rent a boat to go fishing.
