Anglers at Lake Skinner have been doing a great job catching trout this week.

The PowerBait colors they have been using are white, chartreuse, rainbow and spring green. They also have used Rapalas for lures and dough baits in bright colors with garlic are a good choice. Trout mallows with garlic work well with a split shot or an egg slide sinker on a swivel. The next trout stocking will be on January 27th.

The weather at Lake Skinner has been beautiful, temperatures have been in the mid 70's. Which makes it a great time to come out and go fishing. Anglers have been catching small trout and stripers. Here at Lake Skinner we have had beautiful weather. Average temperatures have been in the mid 70's, making it a great time to come out, rent a boat to go fishing.
