Last Plant: The last trout plant was 1,000 lbs. from Mt. Lassen on January 17th
Water Temperature: 51 degrees
Trout fishermen are pulling in some very nice size catches! There have been some nice 2 lb. plus size Crappie caught too! PowerBait colors in White, Chartreuse , Rainbow and Spring Green followed by PowerBait 3" Floating Trout Worms in White, Chartreuse, Pink Shad, Bubblegum, Fluorescent Orange, Cheese or Yellow/Orange used with or without PowerBait trout attractant or Trout Dip in Garlic or Corn are favorites. Berkeley Gulp 2.5" Trout Worms in White, Chartreuse, Bubblegum or Fluorescent Orange are popular too. Kastmasters and Rapalas seem to dominate in lures this week followed by nightcrawlers.
