Good Striper and Largemouth action at Lake Skinner

Weather: Between 60 - 70 Degrees

Striper action has been good this week using chicken livers and anchovies between ramps 1 & 2. The last stocking of Trout was last friday, they have been elusive and on the move.

The largemouth bass are back in action by the launch ramp 2 area. The preferred bait has been nightcrawlers and anchovies.

The weather at Lake Skinner has been in the high 60's and we ended the week with some rain and winds. The water level is up so the Largemouth Bass have been in the shallows. Anglers are using Jigs, plastic worms and swimbaits. Stripers have been biting on cut baits between launch ramp 1 and launch ramp 2. Trout and Stripers have provided the best action at Lake Skinner

The weather was beautiful this week at Lake Skinner with temperatures in the high 70', low 80's. With the nice weather the Bass have been coming up to the shallows and biting on plastic worms and jigs. The average size has been around 4 lbs.
