Weather at the beginning of the week at Lake Skinner was cold and rainy, however they finished up the week with warm temperatures and lots of sunshine. Largemouth Bass was the catch of the week. The fish that were brought in weighed from 5 to 6 lbs. For the most part the best location were the shallows of the lake using nightcrawlers.
Bluegill are starting to bite over in the North Bay hitting on mealworms and lice crickets. Some anglers are luring catfish out of catfish alley, using eight chicken liver or mackerel. Stripers have been active on chicken liver and anchovies over by the inlet.
