UPPER LAKE WATER TEMP: 75 - 80 DEGREES
LAGOON WATER TEMP: 75 - 78 DEGREES
Fishing is still doing great despite all the traffic from the holiday. Stripers are still biting throughout most of the lake and still seem to be hanging out around 20 to 40 feet deep. Night crawlers and frozen are great bait choices while also having a spook tied on is a great choice while waiting for them to boil. The morning bite is the best bite while the afternoon slows down to pick up for the last hour of the day. The largies are also biting the night crawlers in Elizabeth Cyn Dry Gulch and Sharron's Rest. Anglers are still catching cat fish at the buoy line off of mackerel and night crawlers. The lagoon has lost of largies you can pretty much sight fish for all along the shoreline and around the fishing pier seems to be the best. Little pan fish are going crazy over meal worms and wax worms at the lagoon; to the right of the fishing pier is where a lot of them have been hanging out. The night bite at the lagoon is phenomenal.
