Water Temperature: 76 to 78 degrees, this is the same temperature range as last week.
Next Stocking: Catfish will be stocked on 8/8/2013.
Fish Report:
Catfish: Plenty of big fish out there in coves, along the banks. Use chicken liver, anchovies and nightcrawlers.
Striped Bass: Lots of early morning boils at the Inlet and the dam. Swimbait, jerkbait is working well for the Striper. Umbrella rigs or trolling 20' to 55' in the water column is also working.
Largemouth: The Largemouth bite is pretty good from the shore. Drop shots, roboworms, sinkos and frogs have all been productive.
Bluegills: There is still very little action for the Bluegills. The best location to fish for Bluegill is the East Bay with red worms, wax worms and mealworms.
Trout & Carp: no action reported.
