Water Temperatures: 73 to 76 Degrees
Cooler waters are putting the fish on the move. Stripers Not many boils lately and anglers are catching them more by trolling with umbrella rigs and nightcrawlers near the middle of the lake. Catfish are going strong. They are everywhere. Some of the bigger fish are being caught on chicken liver, nightcrawlers, and anchovies. They are all over but the East End has been the best. Largemouth Bass There is medium action near the tulles and reed beds. They have been hitting roboworms, sinkos and frogs. The Bass bite will improve as the water temperature cools. Bluegill There is slow action from the 'gills. Anglers that have been catching them found the best action on the East End using wax worms or mealworms. Trout The slowest action of the species mentioned. There have been some reports of a few Trout being caught by the dam.
