Yesterday morning we awoke to glass water and fog.
We dropped the jigs in at daylight and in no time
spotted our first kelp of the day. As we circled it,
WHAM, our first jig strike. That kelp produced a
handful of yellowtail and a couple of dorado.
That was a lot of fun so we decided to do it again. After a bit of looking we had the opportunity to do it again for similiar results. That kept up for most of the day with the bonus of some schoolie yellowfin tuna thrown in in the middle of the day. We finished the day tired but smiling.
