The water temperature is 59 degrees. Water level is down.


Striper: Low action
Shad are moving deep and this week there has been less of a Striper bite.

Blue Gill: Low action
Blue gill are starting to pick up, live crickets and red worms have been successful this last week.

Catfish: Low action
Cats can be caught over in the coves using chicken livers, anchovies, night crawlers and also on Gulp bait (bloody-bloody, bloody shad guts, bloody chicken).

Largemouth: Low/ Medium Action
No beds or spawning seen yet, they are tight in the tullies.

Carp: Low action
Big carp ready to catch, easy and fun. Use your favorite carp dough balls. along the banks or under heavy cover.

The water temperature is 47-49 degrees. Striper: High Action Stripers still very active. Lures producing some good catches are Flicker shad lures in colors: firetiger, black sunset and shad colored. You can also use power baits, umbrella rigs, Sibiki rigs, and crank baits, plastic leadheads, flukes, scroungers and rattle lures over at the East end if on boat, top water to five feet down, or if on shore, at ramp 2 off any of the point. The water temperature is 47 degrees. Striper: High action. Stripers are still very active. They are still hitting the best on live shad snagged from the lake only or netting them. Also producing some good catches are Flicker shad lures in colors: firetiger, black sunset and shad colored.
