The water was flat calm all day and most of the anglers fished for Rockcod and Halibut. There were some great scores of Rockcod near Davenport and Wilder Beach in 70-110 feet of water. There were some good scores of Rockcod in 20 feet near 3 Mile Beach. The Halibut has still been hit and miss but there were some good scores this week. The Albacore are still on the bite up at the Pioneer Canyon. I did not hear of many boats looking for Salmon today.

The Halibut bite was decent from Davenport to 5 Mile Beach today. The water was flat calm all day long. There were good scores of Rockcod from Davenport to Natural Bridges in 50-100 feet of water. The fishing for Albacore was slow for the anglers who worked near the Guide, 601, and straight out. The best score from Santa Cruz was a boat who fished 36'41/122'29 and 36'42/122'27. The anglers had warm water up to 61 degrees and ended up with 5 nice Albacore. There were scores of 0-2 fish from 36'51/123'03, and 36'40/123'05.
