The water temperature is 50 - 54 degrees. Striper: Slow Action: Light action only with trolling plastics or swim baits or stick baits (clear, silver, or white) lures. .. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gill are in about 70 feet of water hitting on Nightcrawlers and live crickets. catrish: Low Action: Go deep waters, over at the north shore using chicken livers, mackerel or anchovies. Large Mouth: Low Action: 8-10in. bass caught over ramp 1 area use spinner baits, crank baits, and jigs over at the East End. Trout: No Action: Carp: Low Action: Try your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover. The water temperature is 62-64 degrees. Cooler weather conditions allow fish to go deeper, where most likely they will remain for winter. Blue Gill: Medium Action: Nightcrawlers are working best, hitting near Launch Ramp 2. Catfish: Medium Action: cut bait, chicken liver, and shrimp. Go deeper waters or East End is working well.
