The water temperature is 60-62 degrees, water level is up from the rain. The fish seem to be going deep throughout the lake, mostly caught over by the inlet and buoy line this past week. Launch Ramp 2 has also been a hot spot for Striper and Trout. Next stock of Trout is February 22a", 2017! Many Happy Anglers this past week!
Srr/per: High action for Striper with some decent sizes! Some are getting ready to spawn. Swimbaits and cut baits have still been working the best! The Inlet and the middle of the lake have been the spots to hit! Some Anglers have been using anchovies, sardines, and chicken liver producing some nice sizes up to 3-6 pounds.
Large Mouth: Slow action for Large Mouth this past week! The colder days & the rain are making them go deep! Swimbaits have been working best! Must have lost of patience to catch these beauties! Also try using night crawlers, drop shots and jigs. They should pick back up after the cold rainy days.
