The water temperature is 74 degrees. The heat wave is making the fish go deep, make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen! Striper: Medium Action: Striper doing are good over by the inlet about 40-60 feet. They are hitting on sardines, and chicken livers. Blue Gill: Medium Action: They can be caught off jigs, crickets or good ole night crawlers over around the north shore. Catfish: High Action: These little kitties are hanging out over in catfish alley hanging out in the rocks and tullies, and they are hitting on mackerels, anchovies, chicken liver and garlic shrimp. Large Mouth: Medium Action: The largemouth bass have been seen in over by the damn and middle of lake. Try catching them on purple and green robo worms, meal worms, wax worms and night crawlers. Trout: No Action. Carp: Huge and plenty... come and get them, always a FUN way to teach the kids a new challenge.
