The rain was coming down, the wind was blowing, and the fishing were coming out of the lake. With all the muck being stirred up by the Winter-like weather, the catfish were coming on strong, followed closely by the bass. Stringers, full of trout, were being taken home by many of those that chose to 'brave the weather', but some just left cold and wet.

The weather was cool and the fishing was HOT, HOT, HOT. I have never seen so many large trout over 5lbs caught in one day. The trout fishing has been great the last 3 days, using Kastmaster, Rapala, Night Crawlers and Power Eggs. The narrows and the south ends have been the place to fish. Anglers had to change tactics and species to get a good bite this week. After all the rain the creek was munging and the channel cats were on the prowl. We saw some great catches and heard some real fish stories. Four anglers caught and released 56 catfish on Tuesday using Night crawlers.
