The weather was beautiful, the water cool, and the action on the lake was everywhere. There were several reports of Bass being caught with worms for bait, then released back into the lake. Catfish are still biting on worms and liver.
Trout are biting on just about anything! From Powerbait to lures, to worms and grubs. It just depends on your luck for the day. Some people left with fish, others left with only a tan and a smile.

The rain was coming down, the wind was blowing, and the fishing were coming out of the lake. With all the muck being stirred up by the Winter-like weather, the catfish were coming on strong, followed closely by the bass. The weather was cool and the fishing was HOT, HOT, HOT. I have never seen so many large trout over 5lbs caught in one day. The trout fishing has been great the last 3 days, using Kastmaster, Rapala, Night Crawlers and Power Eggs. The narrows and the south ends have been the place to fish.
