The weather got hotter and so did the fishing! Private boaters (and secretive anglers) were taking home their limits without stopping in to brag. But, the few that wanted a keepsake came in to share their catch. The trout have been biting steadily on "Power Bait" and worms/ grubs.

Bass and catfish have been eating worms quite steadily, they have also been caught with "Power Bait", believe it or not!

So, if you plan on coming to visit us this weekend, make sure you bring your stringer and sun block, because both the fishing and temperature will get scorching hot!

The weather was beautiful, the water cool, and the action on the lake was everywhere. There were several reports of Bass being caught with worms for bait, then released back into the lake. Catfish are still biting on worms and liver. Trout are biting on just about anything! From Powerbait to lures, to worms and grubs. It just depends on your luck for the day. The rain was coming down, the wind was blowing, and the fishing were coming out of the lake.
