Mostly cats coming out of the lake this past week. Boat has been best as most of the cats are being reported at the dam and inlet off of mackerel and chicken liver. Shore fishing for the cats remained fair this past week with the best bait being shrimp. Bluegills still biting well in the afternoons inn the coves around Ramp #2 and along the South shore. Striper action has slowed, with most of the fish being caught in the morning and topping off around 2 1/2 pounds. Anchovies have been doing the best for the striper. Largemouth are still out there, but they have gone deep off the points and drop off's along the South shore and back inn the East end, but fishermen have had to work at them. Don't forget the Catfish Tournament runs all month long, don't forget to sign up at the Lake Skinner Store.
These are the following fish reports:
Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Good
Carp: Fair
Catfish: Good
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Fair
Trout: Poor
