Catfish are doing the best right now at Lake Skinner. Most of the cats have been coming in off of mackerel, however chicken liver and anchovies have been working and are wise choice of bait to use if you want to increase your chance of picking up a striper. Bigger cats still coming in near the inlet and Ramp #2 remains the best shore spot for the catfish. Striper remain good but most of the action is by boat near the dam and the inlet. Small boils inn the morning and late evening have been reported in the East End. Chicken liver is still the best bait for the striper, but anchovies are not too far behind. Bluegill still biting and some fishermen are reporting a fair about of numbers along the South Shore. Best time is still in the evening, but fishing deeper in the coves during the day have been picking up a few.
These are the following fish report:
Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Good
Carp: Fair
Catfish: Excellent
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Good
Trout: Poor
