Tuesday, September 29, 2009, they blue stoned the lake again. This has affected the fishing this past week, as fishermen have reported that they are seeing fewer fish. Both the numbers of striper and catfish being reported caught this past week have slowed from the levels they were last week, but they are still biting. Striper are coming in off of anchovies and chicken liver, East End still remains your best bet. Catfish are still picking up on mackerel and chicken liver, East End and Dam are your best bet for them. On the brighter side, the Largemouth have begun to bite better as fishermen reported hooking into several bass along the North Shore and the South Shore. Bluegill have picked up as well.
