Fishing is still good all over the Lake. We had rain earlier in the week, but today is beautiful. Lots of sunshine and no wind.
Best Trout Bait: Night crawlers and Power bait
Best Spots: Pumphouse cove, Dike area

Notables
Faith Bothof of El Cajon caught 2 trout, the largest 6.6 pounds in the South Lake.
Chris Brinkley of Descanso caught the first Bass of the season on a worm with power bait.
Klatton and Kyle Hemminson caught a 2 pound Bass and 2 Catfish at the south end of the Lake.
Flea of Descanso caught 5 trout, the largest 2.5 pouns and 6 catfish, the largest 2.4 pounds at the T-dock using nightcrawlers.
Dan Hilburn of Brawley caught 4 trout the largest 6.25 pounds on white grub/w green trailer at the Jetty and Dike.
Ernie Gomez of Oceanside caught 5 trout, the largest 5.4 pounds on a nightcrawler at the Dike area.
Jon S of El Cajon caught 5 trout, the largest 4.5 pounds on a nightcrawler at Lone Pine.

The Free Fishing class is held every Saturday at 10:00 am. Meet Ranger Charlie at the launch ramp.
THE DECONTAMINIATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS AND MOTORS BEFORE A LAUNCH. ALSO, FLOAT TUBES AND WADERS MUST BE WASHED DOWN BEFORE USING THE LAKE. THERE IS A FEE FOR THE WASH DOWN.
