Hello Anglers,
Our second day at the island started off a little on the slow side but conditions changed and we had a nice afternoon. Yellowtail fishing was steady again and we even took a break to catch and release a ton of big calico bass. The excitement for the day came when angler Chuck Moreno hooked and landed a 37 pound yellow on a rainbow trout colored swim bait while fishing for bass. We also made a little time to drift up a few nice halibut. JUSTIN

Hello Anglers, We departed yesterday on our Canyon Lake 5-day trip with a brand new group of anglers. We decided to start our trip off offshore where we had a little bit of action on school sized tuna. At the end of the day, we just didn't see enough fish to keep us around so we are making a move to the islands to try for yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck... JUSTIN...... Read More
