9/5/11 1:45pm - The Eclipse just called in from their 1.5 Day with 100+ Bluefin Tuna. Captain Rick said the weather has cleared up a bit, and most of the fleet seems to be getting them!

Three Quarter Day Tuna

The San Diego on a three quarter day trip has called in with 10 bluefin tuna in the 15-20lb range. It is recommended by the crew to use 20-25lb fluorocarbon leaders. The San Diego departs daily at 5am for offshore tuna trips. Captain Greg Gawitt on the Pride returned from a one and one half day trip this morning with 78 bluefin tuna for seventeen anglers.
