Friday 9/9/11 8:30am - Just heard from Jody on the Voyager on a one day trip. At that time he reported 40+ bluefin tuna on board.

Three Quarter Day Tuna

The San Diego on a three quarter day trip has called in with 10 bluefin tuna in the 15-20lb range. It is recommended by the crew to use 20-25lb fluorocarbon leaders. The San Diego departs daily at 5am for offshore tuna trips. Captain Greg Gawitt on the Pride returned from a one and one half day trip this morning with 78 bluefin tuna for seventeen anglers.
